Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

How we approach accessibility on this website and in the learning platform we are building.

StatusThis page is a draft prepared for internal review. It is not final legal or policy text, and it should not be relied on until reviewed and approved.

Our approach

We treat accessibility as a design requirement rather than a later remediation step. The website is built with semantic structure, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus indicators, readable typography, and colour combinations chosen for contrast.

Target standard

We are designing toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We do not currently claim conformance. A conformance statement will be published only after the site and platform have been formally evaluated, and it will state the date and scope of that evaluation.

Known limitations

This site is in active development. Course delivery, assessment, and account interfaces do not yet exist, and therefore have not been evaluated. As those areas are built, they will be assessed before release rather than afterward.

Requesting assistance or reporting a barrier

If you encounter a barrier on this site, we want to know. Published contact details are not yet available; see the contact page for the current position. Accessibility reports will be prioritised once a monitored channel is in place.

Alternative formats

Requests for alternative formats or accommodations relating to course participation will be handled through a documented process. That process is not yet finalised and is not described here in order to avoid setting an expectation we cannot currently meet.
